Isobel's Healing Journey

 

Isobel has been through so much, starting on July 2, 2025 with a ruptured AVM that had her LifeStar airlifted to Connecticut Children's for a life saving surgery.  Since then, it's been months in the PICU between July - August, 2025 and October - November of 2025.  Since October 28th, 2025,  Isobel  has been unable to speak, move any part of her body at Will, or express emotions beyond pain and sadness.  In the months since late last year,  she has experienced several months of neuro- storming, seizures, and constant digestive system complications, which have collectively put a tremendous strain to her body and mind, so that she has not been able to see much recovery yet from her TBI crises as of 10-10-26.

The truth is that none of the doctors know whether she'll recover at all, never-mind returning back to a high level and now that we're about 1 year removed from her surgery, the odds continue to drop for her strong recovery..., but God.

Despite the seemingly impossible and overwhelmingly difficult road that Isobel has been on, we still believe that the Lord Jesus will heal her and that healing vision started the moment that the doctors told us that she probably wouldn't survive the next 24 hours back in October last year.  All of us who love Isobel have been going through our own journey, but it's nothing compared with hers.
